Mr Sepehr Eslami, with 10-years+ of experience from marine contracting to consultancy and academia, is a researcher/advisor of coastal engineering at NUSDeltares (Singapore) and a PhD fellow at Utrecht Unviersity (the Netherlands) addressing fluvial and marine dynamics of deltas in the context of global change. With advanced technical, analytical and scientific skills in numerical modelling (fluvial, coastal and urban flow, wave, water quality) and data analytics has has advised/lead a wide range of projects with different scopes (development to execution) in Europe, SE Asia and Middle East. He has recently developed a numerical model of the Mekong mega-Delta in multiple dimensions (using DFlow-FM). He has used the model to develop an integrated framework to study and advise environmental adaptation pathways for the delta, addressing basin-wide flow dynamics.
